Who we are
This website, carpetcleaningkent.org.uk, is operated by Carpet Cleaning Kent, an independent enquiry service for carpet cleaning in Kent.
Information you give us through the quote form
When you fill in the quote form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, postcode or town, the services you're interested in and any description of the job.
We use this information to pass your enquiry to an independent local carpet cleaning professional who covers your area, so they can contact you, quote for the work and, if you choose, carry it out. Once your details are passed on, that business is responsible for how it uses them. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a third-party form-processing service (Web3Forms), which handles the data on our behalf.
The legal basis for handling this information is your request for a quote (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to handle them and deal with any follow-up questions, and then delete them.
Information collected automatically
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search results; this doesn't place cookies on your device. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how your data has been handled.
